Last week-end, Lucas Légeret only 16 years old finished his first European Le Mans Series season in Portimao. Teamed with Vincent Beltoise and Nicolas Melin on Duqueine Engineering car N°8, he signed his first points in an extremely high level championship.

Not able to drive the ELMS season’s first two races being still under 16,  the young Swiss pilot Lucas Légeret achieved then remarkable results in this european endurance championship. He leaves Portimao with a first Top 10 and lots of experience, having once again taken part in the crucial qualification rounds.

In a qualifying session bothered by two consecutive red flags, Lucas Légeret could still take the 9th position, thus achieving the best result of his car during this season. He could have even been able to slide in the 5th position were it not for the first red flag waved  as another driver left the track forcing him to stop his best round.

With  a very good take-off, he gain ed one position at the start on the following day and took a very satisfying rythm during the entire relay. After over an hour on the track, he turned the car in with the 7th position.
